The theme of the 2014 Summit of the Women + Girls Research Alliance, “Convergence: Mapping Success, Wellbeing + Empowerment,” summarized our thinking and framework for the conference: "Women's lives, like the issues researched and explored by the Alliance, are complex and interrelated. In "Convergence" we explored the ways in which policy, education, health care, employment, race and ethnicity shape our lives and are in turn shaped by the lives we lead."
“Convergence” brought together more than 400 community, business, non-profit, government and academic leaders to explore the latest research of the Women + Girls Research Alliance, to hear from experts in a variety of fields, and to “Refresh, Recharge and Empower.” It was a great day of inspiration and education.
